At Marté Egele, our passion goes beyond crafting vibrant, timeless, handmade accessories—we believe in fashion as a force for change. We are committed to giving back, making a tangible difference in the communities we serve, and using our platform to drive social impact. This year, we are proud to announce our first NGO campaign/ partnership with The Lagos Food and Cloth Bank, an organization whose tireless efforts to combat hunger, reduce food waste, and tackle malnutrition inspire us. Through targeted programs, they uplift communities, improve livelihoods, and restore dignity to those in need.

This collaboration is deeply personal to us. We recognize that poverty is not just about food insecurity; it affects every facet of life, including self-esteem, education, and opportunities for growth. We believe that fashion, at its core, is about confidence, self-expression, and empowerment. By joining forces with The Lagos Food and Cloth Bank, we aim to infuse style into society—not as a luxury, but as a tool for transformation.

On International Women’s Day (March 8th, 2025), we are taking our commitment a step further with a campaign that aligns with this year’s theme: Accelerate Action. Our focus? Supporting young women in poverty-stricken communities across Nigeria and Africa, ensuring they not only complete their education but also step into their roles as leaders, change makers and looking good while at it. With your help, we will accelerate action for women and girls, empowering them within their communities and beyond.

How We’re Making a Difference

To contribute to this mission, we will:

• Donate 10% of our sales to The Lagos Food and Cloth Bank, ensuring direct impact on those in need.

• Provide essential products such as our signature bags and small leather goods to help women feel confident and stylish.

• Launch a donation drive, encouraging our community to give clothes, accessories, and monetary support.

• Amplify awareness through newsletters, social media campaigns, and our website, rallying our customers to join the movement.
